I was born lost and take no pleasure in being found    - John Steinbeck

Marketing Project

In my Marketing class we were assigned to create a new company and create a marketing plan in which I was the leader of the group.

This project was instrumental in understanding how to think outside the box and grasp the marketing fundamentals as well as the financial analysis behind a business.

Marketing Project Presentation

A continuation of the Marketing Plan stated above. I was in charge of creating the design, logo, label; as well as creating a mock-up of the product, the ads, and the overall look of the presentation.

The marketing presentation won 2nd place out of 31 other marketing presentations for the class.

As the group leader, this project taught me how to be a better communicator and use my team member's experience and backgroud to our advantage.

    Corporate Social

Responsability Paper

As a lifelong believer that businesses should always strive to make a postitive impact in people's lives, the community, and their industry - writing this essay made me realize it all starts at the top.

I learned about corporate social responsability and how a company like Whole Food Market balances "people, planet, and profit".

Additionally, I learned the different steps companies take to ensure the internal structure is being socially, environmentally, and financially responsible. It also taught me how the public and investors alike respond to these steps taken by companies.

     Research Paper- International Business

This research paper was one of the most interesting I've been involved with. It opened my mind in terms of ethical business practices and overseas labor.

The reseach paper taught me the pros and cons of suppying international labor to keep prices down and maximize profit.

This also taught me how to look at both sides of the business spectrum because while keeping costs low and maximzing efficiency is the main goal of most businesses, this can also have adverse effects on their company values and the public perception of the company.
